In memory of Seth

This is Seth Weaver. He is a little boy that Dawna used to take care of when she worked for Interim Health Care. He is a special needs boy. Seth passed away last night around 6:30 PM. Seth could not see, could not walk, could not move real well. We are not sure if he understood everything, or even knew us all. But, he was special to Dawna and I. Seth was at our wedding. We brought him to our house many times for respite care. I got to know Seth quite well, and I will miss him. He is in a much better place now. No more pain, and hopefully he is whole now. I know his parents, Scott and Jenny will miss him, but, they can continue on with their lives knowing they did the best they could for him. His funeral is on Monday, and Dawna and I will be there to say goodbye to little Seth. It will be a sad day for us here, but, a joyous day for Seth. Please keep his family in your prayers this week. I am sure they would appreciate that.

Mom's Turn.

Well, yesterday was my mother's turn to have surgery. She had cataract surgery at Greenville Hospital yesterday morning. Everything went well. Dawna took her to the hospital and sat with her and brought her home. I stayed with my Dad, and we had a nice morning together. Her surgery was at 9Am, and she was home by noon. That is pretty cool, how quick everything is done anymore.
Teddy had a haircut yesterday afternoon. He looks so cute now. He actually loved having a "spa" treatment. After he was finished, he came running all through the house playing with his bone toys. He is such a funny dog.
After that we went to Goldstein's furniture store in Hermitage and bought a new dining room table and hutch. We also bought a new love seat and 2 matching recliners. We needed new living room furniture. Our sofa and love seat are just not comfortable any more. So, we got a pretty good deal on all these. No interest if we pay it off in 2 years. Not a problem.
I go see my foot doctor today to get my stitches out in my foot. The Post Office called this morning and wanted to see if I could go back to work on Friday instead of next Monday. I told them I need to ask my doctor first. I would rather wait till Monday, but, we will see.
